It's difficult finding time to update the blog daily but it is a place where I can waffle on, although I really do not want to bore you. Since Day 14, Hole#3 I have spoken with EQC/Insurance and City Council.

Nov 30th Day 14 Hole# 3 AND to add insult to injury Mr.Council man
We are into our 14th day for the 3rd hole made in the property. The patio is still ripped up with the hole and the broken pipes. Still waiting on results of DRA Report, and haven't heard anything from EQC about June claim. Ummm seems like they are all waiting on each other I wonder.
Still cannot use the kitchen sink. did get some more pics of under the patio last night. My mate has just bought a new camera, awesome resolution. Have taken many pics but haven't had time to upload them on Flickr or start the new 'finds' blog.
Notied it looked very dark through some of the crack in my drive, and actually managed to get a long thin stick down it, then lost it, tried another and that went quite a way. The mind only boggles when what is under us is visualised.
AND to add insult to injury, the Council road marked yellow lines outside my house. Sheesh, my neighbour already has a bus stop outside his, so he parks outside mine, we both work in so we have enough room for both of our cars.
There was a mobile library outside mine till the June quake. Havent looked at the sign but guessing it may have something to do with that. Grrrrr for weeks I didn't have access to my driveway for the cars and had to park on the road and front outer lawn. It just gets better every day!
The Council know the pipes are screwed, well was told they were fine for now, but why is the water outside on the road in the gutters, especially after I have a shower, and the other pipes well no need to explain the kitchen sink and back laterals. Im really disappointed, and feel sealed in now.
I better run now, off to work, will endeavour to put up a more exciting post..........

23rd Nov Not much a happening on the home front - TC3 stands for Teacup for 3
Not much been happeing on the home front. As per my last post, the hole in the patio is still there. Adapting to the washing dishes weekly, but forget now and then not to run the water to rinse my hands, or to fill the jug to boil some water, my bad!

The Contractor did come back today to camera the back pipes and whatever else they did. But I was nicely surprised with a phone call from one of the guys to update me. But not sure on what I was told to a certain extent.

16th Nov Pipes and my not so nice patio
Another long day, just got home to the hole that was made in my patio, which is more scarier at night.
15th Nov - Day after the CERA Community meeting Council/Insurance/CETA
Had a full on day today with phone calls from different fractions and work of course. I was sitting at the table doing a bit of work before driving to work when my cell rang. It was the investigator man from the Council.

14th Nov Woolston Community Meeting for Blue TC3 - Ferrymead/Brookhaven/Woolston combined
What suburb does one live in? I bought the house under the suburb Ferrymead, but the Council class us as well as Brookhaven as Woolston, mail I receive has one or the other suburb on it,depending who sends me the letter. I know it goes back to the history of the area, yes I have become not just a computer geek but now a history seeking freak. We had our first official CERA

10th/12th Nov Conditions around the house
The last few days running water to cook a meal or wash the dishes is getting much harder. My mum was cooking tea for us,and I would pick it up after work, as the drain is collapsed and water drains under the house and god knows where else. I assure you I have been searching for the outlet in my property and trying to follow the smells.
| Looking at these pics, if you zoom in you can see the flies, but my other pics are going up on Flickr |

Hey guys, man what a hard long day, got a good headache banging away. Not much happening on the Land front, but I did receive a call from Fletchers today, the young dude on the other end of the line asked me if my 'Work activity' had been completed yet?

1st & 2nd Nov 2011 Council vs. EQC
I must start by saying, when I got home from work last night there was a letter from AMI. I was apparently eligible for a Premium discount due to being over the cap? Anyway the amount was backdated and was just over $100. That was a nice surpsie and something I had never heard of...

31st Oct Update EQC/Council
For a long time now I'd always joked about the fight that will start over who is responsible for my pipes/drains/hole in the garden due to waste water/sewage considering the circumstances.
